PF Chang's China Bistro - Long Beach, CA

PF Chang's is a great place for literally 'authentic' tasting Chinese food.  First off, the restaurant's have an amazing look to them. The low lighting and intimate booths make for a very private and enjoyable dining experience. We always go for the booths. They sit higher off the floor, with that it feels as if we are literally in our own space, separate from the rest of the restaurant. 
The service at this location was fantastic. 'Johnny on the spot', as they use to say. 

During this visit our meal consisted of the following: Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Walnut Shrimp w Melon, Mongolian Beef, Crispy Green Beans, and Brussel Sprouts. It was all amazing.
We are meat eaters, and the Mongolian Beef was the bomb. Very tender and tasty. It had a perfect amount of sauce added to it. They are know for their Crispy Green Beans. I was afraid they might be over fried, and therefore greasy. Not here. Perfectly crunchy. I highly recommend this as an appetizer. The Chicken Lettuce Wrap was okay. I was not the best fan of the flavor of the chicken, or the sauce it comes with. Philip was okay with it, but it did not blow me away. It was okay.
Our favorite had to be the Walnut Shrimp with Melon. We suggest, ask for the sauce on the side. When it's added they tend to drench the shrimp. This takes away the crunchiness of the fried shrimp. Just dipping into the sauce is perfect.

So please go to this location. It's well worth the visit.  The pictures below do not do the food justice.
