ABSOLUTELY A DELICIOUS APpVENTURE
This restaurant has been around since 2013. It has always had a crowd, so we expected this to be a positive gastronomical APpventure!
Typically at these type of restaurants we order the breaded catfish along with the steamed shrimp. Firstly, the steamed shrimp was prepared with their custom 'KAsian' mix. Basically a mix of Cajun and Asian spices. It had some great flavors, which told us why this place was so popular. The white shrimp were not small, great size. The ambiance was great, and the wait staff were so attentive. They were johnny-on-the spot the entire visit. Unfortunately we did have one bit of disappointment. The catfish's flavor was bland and did not impress us. There are much better catfish dishes out there. We will definitely return for a visit. Because of course the main reason for a visit would be the SHRIMP! ... and some beer which gotten from the Tap was delicious.

The Noe Restaurant is located inside the Omni Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles' Financial District. It is a short walk to the Broad Museum, Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavillion and the Ahmanson Theater. Next door to Noe is the Museum of Contemporary Art. Due to it's proximity to the museums and theaters, a lot of people have chosen Noe to be their choice of hangout for lunch, dinner or drinks. Best of all, Noe serves excellent food choices matched with superb drink selection and the best service from highly experienced bar tenders and servers. You will no doubt have the best APpventure and experience at Noe. I highly recommend that you at least try their wide array of appetizers as we were truly not disappointed when we ordered a few of their delectable selections. We decided to have a celebration at Guadalajara Grill. APpventures wanted to bring our family together and try this restaurant. Over the years we had heard some amazing things about this place. It did not disappoint!
One of the best parts of this visit was the entertainment. They had almost non-stop Mariachi music the entire time we were in the restaurant. So considering how much our family loves this type of music, it was awesome! This not only included the music though, but some pretty amazing folklorico dancing (Spanish style dancing). And now to the food. Considering it was Buffet style, the food dishes offered were pretty tasty. The typical Mexican dishes that were offered such as Tacos, Menudo, Enchiladas, and Tamales were prepared as we hoped, with taste. As I mentioned when it comes to buffets you really do no know what you will get. As well as the typical Mexican dishes they also have an Omelette bar, multiple soup options, a huge salad bar, dessert options, and many options for children (pizza, chicken fingers, fries, etc...). The dining environment was so inviting. The management you can tell ensure the location is kept up and cleanness seems to be paramount in this location. Will APpventures make a return visit... si! |
