Izzy's Deli - Santa Monica, CA

This place has been a landmark in Santa Monica. 
It's awesome to see the celebrities that have dined there. The walls of this restaurant are lined with these persons, framed and signed. Growing up in Los Angeles, it's so kewl to see the local celebrities I knew as a child up on that wall. 
During this visit we tried a classic Deli meal, Corn Beef and Cabbage. Oh my goodness, what a HUGE serving. I wish I had taken a picture of that stack of meat. It was so juicy and tasty. I decided against the sandwich, I just wanted the cabbage with it. That was such a good combination. The deli mustard spread over the cabbage and corn beef was simply the best. I loved it. 
We also had the  mini-hamburgers. Well they were nothing special. The meat was just okay. Not really a juicy patty. Maybe because it was a smaller patty so it's difficult to make it juicy??? Not sure, but will not order it again just the same.
Now we did add the Onion Rings to our meal. I had heard from a friend that comes to Izzy's often to order them. They were for sure worth the visit. These rings were so crunch and tasty. I just wish they gave us more... but of course they could never give enough :).
