This is yet another example of America's respect for its military. And it's reverence for the Union. The park represents a very dark time in American history. With its new welcome center and free driving audio tour, you are able to get the full impact of Gettysburg. Thankfully our visit happened to be a very beautiful day. Considering 90% of the sites are outdoors, we were blessed.
