​Boracay is one of the most well-known destinations in the Philippines, recognized both internationally and as a favorite vacation spot among locals. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in the country, known for its powdery white sand and breathtaking sunsets.
During our time on the island, we had the opportunity to experience a variety of activities, which we will be sharing in more detail in separate posts. Boracay offers something for every type of traveler, from water sports and excursions to a diverse and vibrant food scene.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the island is the lively beachfront walkway that runs parallel to the shore. Lined with hotels, restaurants, and shops, it creates a dynamic atmosphere where locals and visitors alike gather to stroll, dine, and take in the coastal views.
Overall, Boracay delivers a well-rounded and memorable travel experience. With its natural beauty, welcoming environment, and wide range of activities, it is truly a must-visit destination. We look forward to returning in the future.

​During our time in Bohol, we visited Sikatuna’s Mirror of the World, a unique and beautifully designed park that quickly became one of the more unexpected highlights of our trip. The park features scaled replicas of some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, all set within lush, well-manicured gardens. Among the highlights were recognizable structures such as the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, and the Golden Gate Bridge, each thoughtfully placed to create a miniature journey across continents.
Although we experienced a brief interruption due to rain—lasting about 30 minutes—it did little to take away from the overall enjoyment. Once the weather cleared, the park took on an even more refreshing atmosphere, with the greenery appearing more vibrant and the surroundings feeling cool and inviting.
One of the standout features was the restaurant located on the upper level. Offering elevated views of the park below, it provided a relaxing place to sit, unwind, and take in the scenery. The combination of globally inspired attractions, peaceful surroundings, and a well-situated dining area made this stop a memorable part of our Bohol experience.

Visiting the Chocolate Hills was a memorable and unique experience. One of the highlights is the climb up a long, well-constructed staircase that leads to a viewing platform atop one of the hills. From this vantage point, you are rewarded with a panoramic view of hundreds of perfectly rounded hills stretching out in every direction.
While the Chocolate Hills are typically known for their brown coloration during the dry season, our visit took place during the rainy season, when the landscape was lush and green. We jokingly referred to them as the “matcha hills,” which added a fun and unexpected twist to the experience.
The views are especially impressive on a clear day, making the effort to reach the top well worthwhile. It is important to note that the site is somewhat remote and not easily accessible without transportation, so planning ahead is essential.
Overall, the Chocolate Hills are a fascinating natural wonder and a must-see destination for anyone visiting the region.

​Visiting the island of Cebu was an incredible experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The natural beauty of the island is truly remarkable, particularly its stunning waterfalls. Reaching some of these locations was an adventure in itself—we traveled by motorcycle down steep, rugged terrain, as walking would have been both difficult and potentially unsafe. The journey added an extra level of excitement and authenticity to the experience.
In addition to the waterfalls, Cebu offers exceptional hiking opportunities. We explored several scenic viewpoints that provided sweeping views of the coastline and surrounding cities, showcasing the island’s diverse landscape and breathtaking scenery.
