​During our stay in Cebu, we chose the NuStar Hotel, a relatively new property that delivers an experience approaching five-star quality. From the moment of arrival, the attention to detail and level of comfort were immediately apparent.
The hotel features a casino on the ground floor, which we unfortunately did not have time to explore. However, we were able to enjoy the on-site Filipino restaurant, which was outstanding. The food was authentic, flavorful, and one of the culinary highlights of our stay. The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of Southeast Asian selections that we thoroughly enjoyed each morning.
Our room was exceptional and truly elevated the overall experience. The bathroom was spa-like, featuring a rain shower and a large soaking tub. The room also included a spacious sitting area, adding to the sense of comfort and luxury. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a fresh fruit plate, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The in-room entertainment system was another standout feature, offering a high level of interactivity with access to various apps and entertainment options, ensuring there was always something to enjoy during downtime.
Overall, the New Star Hotel provided a refined and memorable stay. With its combination of modern amenities, excellent dining, and attentive service, it is a property we would gladly return to on a future visit to Cebu.
