​The Mandarin Hotel is one of the standout properties located along the sandy beachfront strip, perfectly positioned among the many hotels and restaurants that line the shore. Its direct access to the beach makes it an ideal choice for those looking to fully enjoy the coastal setting.
Our room was exceptionally spacious and well-appointed, featuring a private balcony overlooking the pool area below. Being situated toward the back of the property provided a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere, as the nearby pool saw relatively little foot traffic.
Service throughout our stay was excellent. Room service was prompt and attentive, and housekeeping maintained the room to a high standard, with fresh linens provided regularly. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary bottled water delivered daily and a welcoming fruit tray upon arrival.
The reception experience deserves special mention. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness created an atmosphere that was both inviting and memorable.
We also had the opportunity to dine poolside, where the food was consistently high quality and well-prepared. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast each morning, featuring an extensive selection that exceeded expectations in both variety and quality.
Overall, our stay at the Mandarin Hotel was outstanding. With its prime location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service, it is a property we would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

​During our stay in Cebu, we chose the NuStar Hotel, a relatively new property that delivers an experience approaching five-star quality. From the moment of arrival, the attention to detail and level of comfort were immediately apparent.
The hotel features a casino on the ground floor, which we unfortunately did not have time to explore. However, we were able to enjoy the on-site Filipino restaurant, which was outstanding. The food was authentic, flavorful, and one of the culinary highlights of our stay. The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of Southeast Asian selections that we thoroughly enjoyed each morning.
Our room was exceptional and truly elevated the overall experience. The bathroom was spa-like, featuring a rain shower and a large soaking tub. The room also included a spacious sitting area, adding to the sense of comfort and luxury. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a fresh fruit plate, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The in-room entertainment system was another standout feature, offering a high level of interactivity with access to various apps and entertainment options, ensuring there was always something to enjoy during downtime.
Overall, the New Star Hotel provided a refined and memorable stay. With its combination of modern amenities, excellent dining, and attentive service, it is a property we would gladly return to on a future visit to Cebu.

This hotel was for just one night before a flight the next morning. What a comfortable stay it was. Neat and clean. Since most everything was packed away, it was a pleasure to find all the bath and shower items available. So many hotels do not provide them these days.
I really did appreciate the airport shuttle from the hotel to the airport. 
If ever in Boston again, this hotel will be at the top of our list.

We have not stayed in this hotel for quite a few years. We were curious as to how it has aged. Considering this hotel dates back to the 90's.
It has been remodeled and updated...but it probably was a while ago. We were not impressed at all. Actually, we did not stay for the full stay. We left two days early to relocated to another hotel.
This hotel just appeared to need a deep cleaning. There were heavy layers of dust on top of everything. The carpet did not appear clean at all.

Another thing...the elevators were so unreliable.  We were lucky if they actually were working. Daily at least one of the four were down.

This was a great hotel. It was clean and pristine. The hotel was brand new. Newly built. The Breakfast bar was awesome. All fresh food, and clean surroundings. We this hotel because it had electric car charging listed on its web site. Unfortunately, it was opening all its offerings in stages. So, it was not available to us. It was not a game changer, but a little disappointing. 
​Would we stay here again, definitely. 

This is definitely a fantastic hotel to stay. The hotel is 25 years old, but it is well maintained. 
There was an issue with the electronic data systems when we checked in. Because of this we were given dining vouchers. What a gesture. It was so appreciated, and not only by us.
We loved the hotel room. It was spacious and well kept. We look forward to our next stay here. 
The bath towels were thick and soft. The bedding was clean and crisp. The details were well appreciated by us.

What a fantastic hotel. This was our first time staying at this location. Love the spacious room, and the updated and classy hotel vibe. The pool was HUGE. It has the lazy river and wave beach that makes this a very fun visit. Awesome property.
