​Our helicopter tour over Boracay Island was truly an unforgettable experience. Seeing the island and its surrounding islets from hundreds of feet above provided a completely different and breathtaking perspective that simply cannot be matched from the ground.
The flight path covered several nearby islands, offering stunning panoramic views of the coastline, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant landscapes. The pilot was highly knowledgeable and provided informative commentary throughout the tour, helping us better understand the geography and points of interest below.
I was fortunate to have a front-seat view, which made the experience even more immersive and allowed for some exceptional photography. In addition, the helicopter was equipped with a 360-degree camera, capturing incredible video footage that perfectly preserved the experience.
Weather conditions were ideal, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and comfortable flight. While helicopter rides can feel intimidating for some, this journey was surprisingly calm and enjoyable from start to finish.

​This was our first experience flying with Philippine Airlines, and it proved to be a very positive one. For our 14-hour flight, we selected seats in the emergency exit row, which provided additional legroom and significantly enhanced overall comfort.
The in-flight dining was a highlight of the journey. The menu featured primarily Filipino cuisine, offering an authentic and flavorful experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The quality and presentation exceeded expectations for a long-haul flight.
Service was exceptional throughout. The flight attendants were attentive, professional, and consistently courteous. Their warm hospitality reflects the airline’s reputation, often associated with the spirit of “Mabuhay,” a traditional Filipino greeting that embodies welcome and goodwill.
For our return trip, we again chose a direct flight, which eliminated the need for connections and made the travel experience much more seamless and stress-free. The return journey was just as comfortable and enjoyable as the outbound flight.
Overall, Philippine Airlines delivered a high-quality travel experience at a very competitive price point, especially during the busy holiday season. We would not hesitate to fly with them again.

Low cost airline, with no frills. But, you get what you pay for. It is a direct flight from Burbank CA to Las Vegas NV. The flight is no more that 40 minutes long. Easy peasey. Comfortable and you get a drink (non alcoholic) and snack. Worth it always.
