Cyndi Lauper is a musical icon, actress and an activist with a career that spans more than four decades. She rose to stardom in the early 80s when her albums reached the top-five charts. Now in her 60s, Cyndi still can sing her songs and brings people back to a time when all the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." In July 2019, we were fortunate to have seen her in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The venue was packed and the crowd really loved her. Her energy is keeps up with the times and people of today with her famous songs and despite her age, she still looks really good and vibrant. It was truly a great APpventure to see Cyndi Lauper in concert.

Ain't Too Proud is a great musical about the life and times of THE TEMPTATIONS. It provides an educational view of their struggles, failures, successes, triumphs and challenges. It tells a great story about how they started their journey as each member joined The Temptations vocal group and their release of every successful single and album with Motown Records in the 1960s and 1970s. In this show, you will begin to understand how the Temptations, like many other successful artists before them, had to face several challenges to reach the top of the musical charts and how they have transformed their revolutional style that contributed to the R&B and soul music of today. People have expressed their utmost appreciation about how the Temptations paved the way to what we now know as a great performance and showmanship when the cast of the show started exhibiting the same choreography that the Temptations did for every song they sang on stage. The APpventures witnessed how this show truly captured the life and times of The Temptations.

Annie is one of the shows that was featured at the Hollywood Bowl as part of its summer series. A huge difference that sets this live musical apart from the movie is the exhilirating vocal ensemble and the magnificent orchestra that you will get to enjoy at the Hollywood Bowl. This production of Annie didn't disappoint and have made it a top musical of the summer by selecting a great cast. The all-star cast includes Lea Salonga, Megan Hilty, David Alan Grier, Steven Weber, Ana Gasteyer, Roger Bart and introduces young Kaylin Hedges as the irrepressible red-headed orphan.
