We loved this restaurant. It specializes in Italian flavors using locally grown ingredients and seasonal offerings. The atmosphere is modern and inviting with soft light and spaces that can offer privacy (for an intimate dinner) or larger options for bigger groups.
The 16oz Rib-eye was to die for. It was as tender and tasty as it should be. Hands down this was one of the best Rib-eye's I have ever tasted. I meant to take a picture of it for the blog, but once I saw it I just had to dig in. So really the only option would have been an empty plate... not a good image. In addition the house made Lasagna and fresh salads were spot on. So come hungry, because you will leave the EXACT opposite!

Grand Cafe (Las Vegas, NV)

The Grand Cafe is located at the Red Rock Casino and is about 18 miles off the strip in Las Vegas. The restaurant invokes a European-inspired ambience, which helps illustrate a great sense of class when it comes to a chic dining experience. Their great restaurant design helps to stage what others may perceive to be a  great and posh cafe. It truly is a great looking restaurant as you'll see in the slideshow below. However, the service and the food is nothing short of ordinary. One can say that the food and customer service at Grand Cafe does not level up with its high class ambience.  The food that we ordered came out wrong and the server had to reorder our food. The servers were also not very friendly and it made us uncomfortable to even ask for another glass of water. Based on our experience, we don't intend to dine at the Grand Cafe again but will definitely choose a much more popular and welcoming restaurant at the Red Rock Casino.

People who love a little bit and a bite of APpventure will love this little buffet heaven in the heart of Las Vegas. The Wicked Spoon is located at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and is a premiere choice for buffet lovers. They have a wide variety of food selections from Asian, American, Seafood and a little bit of exotic selections as well. One of the unusual food selection that many people are gravitating towards is the grilled bone marrow. This is a typical soup base ingredient in some Asian cultures, which gives their soup a delectable taste that will leave you craving for more. At the Wicked Spoon, however, they grill the bone marrow and the flavor is bursting with buttery sensation as it makes contact with your palate.  In fact, many people have talked about the Wicked Spoon because it evoked a lot of curiosity and attention and made more people interested to try this popular buffet at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas. To our delight, we really enjoyed trying all these delightful food choices that they served and as you will see in the slideshow photos, their world-class culinary presentation makes Wicked Spoon a top choice that will satisfy one's appetite for APpventure and indulgence.

M Grill (Los Angeles, CA)

M Grill has been one of our favorite indulgences due to its elegant ambiance and their delectable choices of meat that has been carefully cooked to perfection in churrasco style. Churrasco is a Portuguese term for grilled meat. The cut of the meat and the careful attention that they provided to spice up and cook the meat gives their food an exquisite taste. The meat is tender and always full of flavor. But meat is not the only thing on their menu. They also have a full salad bar with lots of salad and vegetarian choices. From the grill, they also have grilled shrimps and their famous grilled pineapple. On Friday evenings, they also have a live performer who sings Jazz songs to help set the mood to a relaxing tone.
As you are seated to your table, you will notice a small square card on the table with a green and a red side. That  simply means that if you put the red side facing up, you are currently unable to take or consume more meat. On the other hand, if you turn the green side up, the servers will continually come to serve you more meat. It's a great system to indicate that you are reaching your gastronomic limit. It is best to come prepared and with lots of appetite to accommodate the indulgence that you will partake at M Grill.

Perhaps one of the best things that we enjoy at M Grill is their exuberant level of customer service. The servers pride themselves of providing an excellent M Grill experience, which is one of the best reasons why people love to go back again and again.

The General Manager of M Grill, Mr. Ivo Bachvarov, is a highly skilled professional who is proficient in all aspect of the restaurant business. He is always present and frequently checks on the guests' experience thereby making sure that customer satisfaction remains to be at the top of his priority. Customers at M Grill always feel welcomed and guaranteed that only the best quality food will be served for their evening's delight. We certainly will be visiting M Grill again and we hope to see you there soon.

Barrio Fiesta (North Hills, CA)

Eating at Barrio Fiesta is like experiencing a home cooked meal in the Philippines. What makes this place pretty unique is that they serve your entrees in the same pot or pan where they were cooked. They also keep the same recipe of Filipino dishes that has been passed on for many generations so you will be guaranteed that the taste is the same and is very familiar to the palate.
I consider this restaurant to be a treat once in a while because it is so rich in goodness that sometimes it may be too much for our body to have too much indulgence. As they say, a little bit of everything won't hurt. Just stay on the safe side and monitor your sugar, salt and fat consumption. But as long as you don't eat this food everyday, you should be okay.
Today, we ordered the Rellenong Talong, which is a grilled eggplant wrapped in an egg omelet and stuffed with ground pork, raisins, diced potatoes, and green peas. This dish is definitely a treat especially if you love eggplant. We also ordered my favorite Beef Caldereta, which is simmered in tomato sauce, onion, liver spread, bell pepper and cheese. This dish is a popular party favorite. The Barrio Fiesta in North Hills at the corner of Nordhoff and Woodley and can easily be located at 16150 Nordhoff Street, North Hills, CA 91343. It is next door to Seafood City Supermarket so it is definitely hard to miss.

If you are pretty adventurous and you happen to drive close by the Ports of Call in San Pedro, California, we highly recommend that you try out the market and restaurants in San Pedro. Here you can select the type of seafood that you like and you can be guaranteed that they are all fresh because they are freshly delivered by the fishing boats. You can enjoy fresh crabs, lobsters, shrimps and many other kinds of seafood. Once you have selected the kind of seafood that you want to have for your meal, the seller will ask you how you want it cooked. Because they cook it within minutes, you will be guaranteed to enjoy some of the best tasting food that Southern California has to offer. The prices are also very reasonable considering the fact that the seafood is fresh and of excellent quality. It is no wonder why this place is so packed with locals who want to enjoy fresh seafood.

Wokcano (Burbank, CA)

The Wokcano Restaurant in Burbank is located on San Fernando and East Angeleno Avenue. This restaurant seem to have expanded their space because we noticed that their space extend to another bar in the back of the restaurant. There is plenty of seating, which means that the wait to get a table is very minimal. One of the best thing that we like to order at Wokcano is their Honey Walnut Shrimp. This dish is always so flavorful because they use fresh shrimps and then cover them with a batter and add a little bit of mayonnaise, honey and sweetened condensed milk. The result is definitely heavenly with or without the crispy honey glazed walnuts. You will never get tired of this dish and we highly recommend that you try it at least once.

During our visit to Wokcano, we also ordered their Kung Pao Chicken as an entree and Chicken Wings as appetizer. Their Kung Pao Chicken has the right amount of flavor with mix just the right amount of spice. To be on the safe side, you can request that they make it medium spice. However, if you love spicy food, you can tell the waiter to make it extra spicy. We love spicy food so we always request this dish with extra spice.  The chicken wings was also pretty good. It was crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. It was also seasoned nicely so it came out with just the right amount of saltiness without changing the flavor of the chicken. Both dishes were pretty good especially when your palate has already predetermined what it wants to savor.
