​It was an incredible experience. Seeing Gustavo Dudamel near the end of his tenure as Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic made the evening even more meaningful. The program was both somber and beautiful, filled with emotion from start to finish. We feel fortunate to have attended one of his final performances here and wish him nothing but the very best in his next chapter.

​The party boat experience off the coast of Boracay exceeded all expectations and quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Not knowing exactly what to anticipate beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised by how well-organized and enjoyable the entire excursion turned out to be.
The cruise departed a couple of hours before sunset, offering guests the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the clear waters just offshore. Lunch was served on board—simple yet satisfying—and complemented by an all-inclusive beverage service, which featured unlimited alcoholic drinks throughout the journey.
The vessel itself was a spacious catamaran, designed with multiple areas for relaxation and socializing. Each guest was assigned a designated seating area for dining, while still having the freedom to explore different parts of the boat. With multiple decks available, including an upper level, there were plenty of vantage points to take in the scenery.
As the cruise progressed, the atmosphere gradually shifted into a lively celebration. Toward the end of the trip, the energy peaked with music, dancing, and a festive environment that brought everyone together. The timing was perfect, concluding just as the sun began to set, allowing us to enjoy a stunning golden sunset over the water.
Overall, this excursion delivered a perfect balance of relaxation, entertainment, and scenic beauty. It was an excellent value and an experience we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Boracay.

​This visit to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion was every bit as enjoyable as any we’ve had before. La Bohème was fantastic—as expected. Having seen it previously in New York City, it was a real treat to experience it again in our hometown of Los Angeles.
The entire cast delivered a strong performance, and everything felt beautifully executed. Even though our seats were in the balcony, the sound was incredible—rich, clear, and perfectly carried throughout the pavilion. It’s always a pleasure to see this timeless production by Giacomo Puccini brought to life so well.

​Visiting Oriole Park at Camden Yards feels like stepping back in time. As one of the original “retro” ballparks, it beautifully captures the spirit of baseball’s early days while still offering all the comforts of a modern stadium.
The design has a timeless charm, and because it’s not overly massive, it feels intimate no matter where you’re նստած. One of my favorite features is the iconic B&O warehouse that runs along the outfield—it adds so much character and really ties the whole ballpark together.
The food is consistently top-notch, which isn’t always the case at every stadium, and it’s something I’ve come to appreciate here. Our seats were fantastic, and the experience was even more special because the team was honoring Cal Ripken Jr. for his incredible contributions and legacy with the Baltimore Orioles.
It turned out to be a great game, with perfect weather to match. This is one ballpark that absolutely lives up to its reputation.

​Visiting PNC Park, home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, was an awesome experience. Nestled right along the river, the ballpark offers incredible views of downtown Pittsburgh, making it one of the most scenic stadiums I’ve been to.
The layout of the stadium is fantastic—easy to navigate with great sightlines throughout. The food options were excellent (you’ll see that in the pictures), and surprisingly, both ticket prices and food costs were pretty reasonable.
Unfortunately, our home team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, came up short, but it was still a great experience seeing them play in such a beautiful ballpark. We also got pretty lucky with the weather. It was pouring rain right before game time, but right as the game started, the rain cleared and gave us a perfect window without any interruptions.
I’ve always wanted to visit this ballpark, and it absolutely did not disappoint.

ARTE Museum – An Immersive Nature Experience on the Las Vegas Strip
During our recent trip to Las Vegas, we visited the ARTE Museum, and it quickly became one of the standout attractions of our stay. Located right on the Strip inside the CityCenter complex, this multi-sensory art exhibition is a must-see for anyone who loves immersive experiences.
A Multi-Sensory World of Nature
The ARTE Museum showcases the beauty of nature in a completely unique way—through massive, floor-to-ceiling projections. Some displays tower above you, while others stretch across walls and floors, creating the feeling that you’ve stepped inside the artwork itself.
From serene waterfalls to lush forests and vibrant landscapes, the imagery is breathtaking. Accompanied by a carefully curated soundtrack, each room is designed to pull you deeper into the experience. At times, you feel like you’re standing in the middle of a dreamscape.
The Experience
The exhibit is both calming and awe-inspiring, and it’s easy to lose yourself in the visuals. Because the art surrounds you from all sides, you’re not just viewing it—you’re part of it. Whether you’re exploring at your own pace or sitting down to simply take it in, there’s no wrong way to experience ARTE.

• Give yourself at least 60–90 minutes to fully explore the exhibition.
• The museum is located inside the CityCenter building on the Las Vegas Strip, making it easy to fit into your day.

​Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends at the Mark Taper Forum
​At the beginning of the year, Los Angeles was treated to something truly special: Stephen Sondheim’s musical Old Friends arrived at the Mark Taper Forum. As longtime fans of Sondheim, we had been looking forward to this production for quite some time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations.
The Production
Old Friends is a celebration of Stephen Sondheim’s genius, featuring a collection of musical numbers from his most beloved shows. Rather than following a traditional storyline, the production lets the music shine, weaving together songs that highlight the brilliance of his lyrics and compositions.
The casting was clever and dynamic, giving each performer their moment while also creating stunning ensemble numbers. What made this production even more exciting was the presence of two of our personal favorites: Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga.
A Reunion of Favorites
Seeing Peters and Salonga on stage together was a thrill. They shared the spotlight in Old Friends back in 2023, and this performance felt like a reunion of sorts. Their chemistry and talent elevated the evening, and their voices—individually and together—were absolute standouts.
The Venue
The Mark Taper Forum was the perfect setting. Not only is it a wonderful, intimate venue for theater, but its location offers beautiful views of Downtown Los Angeles in the evening—an added bonus that made the night even more memorable.
Final Thoughts
We left the theater feeling deeply moved and inspired by the timeless music of Stephen Sondheim, brought to life by an incredibly talented cast. Unfortunately, the run of Old Friends in Los Angeles has ended, so we can’t encourage you to see it for yourself—but it was an unforgettable evening that reminded us just how powerful and enduring Sondheim’s work continues to be.

What an awesome playground for adults. So much to do. This location has several different venues for entertainment. The restaurants are open to all. This site is made up of multiple entertainment options. Beware, each and every other venue has its own fee. The one we decided to enjoy was amazing. Lots of hidden doors.  It did cost us about $120. for us both. 
So be openminded when you visit. It's definitely a fun spot, but could cost a bit of $$$
